Got my geek on and finally saw Guardians of the Galaxy today. Awesome movie. Love love love. James Gunn is absolutely a kid from my generation and it showed. And Chris Pratt was brilliant. Definitely my favorite Marvel film so far. The audience I was with laughed and had a great time.

Saw it at the Alamo Drafthouse here, and all their pre-show silliness consisted of a bunch of raccoon videos mixed in with cheesy sci-fi and a few relevant Marvel cartoons. It’s like they knew just what the audience wanted. Haha.

Tim and Carrie League are geniuses. The Alamo has ruined any other movie experience for me. Draft Guiness and good food with my movie? Why, yes, thank you!
