We need to look at this both politically and realistically.

I’d like him gone now too, but it isn’t realistic.

Government stuff goes slow. Party stuff is to protect the party. Individual politicians wants to save their asses. It takes a lot of change and coordination to get all that together and to find a message they can all use to allow them to boot him.

We are at 7 months. I think it is moving in the right direction and faster than expected realistically.

Remember Watergate and that was a Democratic congress that took out Nixon forcing him to resign. This is majorly up to Republicans and it is going to be real tough for them. To see some actually saying what they are saying today is big in my eyes. It gives some cover for others to come out.

I get what you’re saying but Nixon had a functioning state department. He had a functioning government. We don’t.

State is broken.

Education is broken.

The people who manage the fucking nukes are broken.

If we had a reasonably functional government I’d wait. We don’t. And we can’t.
