Feature, not a bug.

They saw Trump as their means to the End Times. They thought Trump would fuck things up so completely that it would usher in the Apocalypse. Their support was cynical and entirely about fulfilling prophesized end of the world stuff. Trump was their guy because he’d ruin everything he touched. The GOP was down with this because democracy stands in the way with unilaterally ruining everything.
