Similarly with conservationist and other types of organizations. Fanatical utopian socialists take over the organizations and turn them into refrigerator magnets for the Democrat party, also taken over by them. Imagine what would happen if someone started a competing organization to the NOW, Sierra Club, or the NAACP. I wonder if anyone ever tried this already.

I once heard or read somewhere that in the turbulent 60’s, many radical student leaders in the struggle for control of their groups or questions of their loyalty wound up dead, their bodies buried in the Santa Cruz mountains in California. I wonder whether there’s any truth to this.
