So is his judgement lousy for having these conversations or for getting caught? No one thought this of Weiner before. Sure, he’s always been bombastic and sensational, but he’s hardly an ineffective politician if you ask any liberal household.

He is now — do you really think he can go on the cable shows to talk about single payer healthcare, and that’s what they’ll let him talk about? Or tax rates, or any other issue for which he’s the standard-bearer?

His judgment is lousy for giving ammunition to people he knew were wanting to take him down.
