had a year old coon in the yard some years back…it was acting funny so we kept the dog away and I watched it decided it was rabid…I went in and got my pistol and walked over to it, but it was rapidly staggering in circles, dodging here and there…so I went back a got my 12ga….0000buck point blank…it was instantaneously vaporized….very humane
