Ah, yeah, but there’s a looong way between being a Federal District court judge and a Justice of the Supreme Court.
In spite of what some of y’all think, I don’t think Justice Sotomayer would have much impact on the SCOTUS.

Since he’s replacing one liberal with another, I don’t think it would either.
