Ah - you methodists are evidently spared the memo about the unfathomable awfulness and sordidness of any activity involving the unmentionables. As a catholic atheist I can say that probably most of our teachers, priests etc did get that memo and were eager to pass on it’s contents.

And you know it only added a sense of drama, risk, and rebelliousness to the mix.
