re: #653 CuriousLurker
I’ll take comfort over fashion any day. I do most of my work form home, so I’m barefooted unless it’s cold. I have comfy, flat, rubber-soled leather mules for everyday stuff, and simple black flats for business.
A heel as low as 1.5 inches can cause me to trip & twist my ankle (because I’m usually daydreaming when I walk, and the sidewalks here are treacherous), so I avoid heels like the plague.
I’ll admit to sometimes going with heels when I want to look dressed up (I’m a terrible feminist, clearly), but yeah, I normally avoid any amount of heel because I like stability and for the above mentioned height reasons.
