Let’s give (paltry) credit where credit is due. She didn’t double down. She actually said “I’m sorry”, which I thought were words entirely banished from the Republican lexicon. And honestly, what else can you do but delete the tweets and apologize after that?

Of course, she really should have taken a little time to Google the event, but hey, baby steps.

As far as mea culpas go, it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever heard.

But what does “sorry” really mean when in all likelihood you’re going to do the same damn thing again the very next time the “Obama Is Evil” alarm clock goes off?
