OT, but I need advice and we have Lizards here who do the freelance graphics art thing.

I have been working on this Android app and things are getting to the point where I am hoping to put it on the Google Play store in the next couple of weeks. I’m not putting a lot of images into the app but there’s one pretty unavoidable one - the logo/icon for the app. I’ve just been using the generic one Google provides while developing but I’d like to do something more professional for the actual release one.

I think from Android’s documentation that I need the icon in multiple sizes maxxing out at 640pixels. I have a rough idea of what I am thinking of and could possibly provide photo guidance but I am looking for it to be a vector illustration.

Do you guys have any idea what the cost for something along those lines would be? The budget on this isn’t huge because I don’t expect to make any money on the project. (The hope is for returns in the form of a job interview.) On the other hand, I am enough of a perfectionist that this is important.
