Fairly insane idea. The beginnings of a Rollerball dystopia.

The idea is to create one (or more) 36-square mile sovereign areas with rail and paved road access (we have both in my village, one each).

So if they took that route, presumably any corporation would be exempt from taxation and government regulation by the village or the state. I presume the village would still be required to provide government services to that district.

Yeah, I’m gonna oppose this.
