Indeed. They need to be buried for this. This isn’t bad politics or even ideology. It’s enabling Trump and creating a dangerous precedent. There are no profiles in courage here. No Larry Hogan, Sr or Margaret Chase Smiths to stand up to a corrupt demagogue.

Their plan is permanent Republican rule and that is the precedent that they are adopting and putting in effect. They don’t care about the damage to our democracy because their goal is to institute one party rule and no need for fair elections. Their schemes for voter disenfranchisement and voter suppression in every diverse state that they control is clear and unambiguous. There will not be a free election again in our lifetime if the GOP remains in charge of WH after the November election, especially if they still control the Senate.
