The bonded pair I adopted last April were afraid of me at first. They were 11 months old and had been with their foster all that time. They were hard to adopt because they look so much alike. Over the last 10 months, they’ve come around. They like to be with me. We have our little routines. Sakura always jumps on my bed when I open the bedroom door in the morning. She wants to sniff my breath. Fuji comes to check out my legs when I get out of the shower. They sleep on my bed. They love it when I strip the sheets because it’s playtime!

I still have a hard time telling them apart.
