Other then Cato, who seems to be both left and right, the overwhelming majority of those who comment here who use that word are left of center.

Not sure that I’m left of center, I consider myself straight down the middle, but I use it all the time. I use it so often that I’ve been afraid to have children for fear of paybacks. I’ve refrained from using it here because someone complained. I try to play nice.
