Ok, I have really never commented on the I.D. threads, and I am not sure exactly where to start, but here goes…

I think that if I.D. is going to be discussed in a classroom setting it should be confined to studies of philosophy. I do believe in God and I do believe that he created the universe, but it is not outside the realm of possibility to suggest that he is capable of using evolution to accomplish the creation of life. In fact evolution only strengthens my belief in God. Anything that is so beautiful and complicated is surely something he would be involved in. My problem is understanding why these nut-jobs cannot accept that. We are reading the same text and live in the same universe, yet they persist in smearing science and in the end insulting the intelligence of God.
