Finally got around to watching the President’s remarks he made today. Very sober. I happen to think he’s telling the truth about the black experience in the US.

Is he stoking a race war? By assuming that, these RWNJs are letting their racist freak flags fly high today. Just disgusting stuff. And thanks to a few select LGF comments, I have seen the most vile racist Twitter accounts imaginable (not dogging LGF comments, it’s good to air the dirty laundry, still though, I need brain bleach).

Everything the President said today, every Black person in America already knew. Everybody who has a Black friend (an actual friend, not an “I’m not a racist I have a black friend” acquaintance) already knew.

The only people who weren’t already fully aware of these facts… are white people who don’t know any black people well enough to speak to about anything other than work. Not only weren’t they aware, they’re heavily invested in it not being true. So they tell themselves and each other that the President is making it up to get people riled up.
