The idea of having some actually physically carry these documents to other countries is… amazingly, blindingly stupid.

It’s kind of a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” for this crew. If they send them electronically, the odds are good that they’ll get intercepted and detected. If they carry them physically, they get busted and confiscated at the airport. Really, the best solution would be to - oh, I don’t know - NOT STEAL THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE.
