re: #61 wheat-dogg
Apples, as it turns out, originated in Kazakhstan, where they still grow wild.
So, was the Garden of Eden located in Kazakhstan? Adam and Eve were some hardy souls, given the winters there.

Never would have guessed that but perhaps the geography of Kazakhstan was very different. Central Asia is a region that I really don’t know too much about. Rumor had it when I was an undergrad, that the Central Asian history course offered was the most difficult course in the program. I never did take it. I used a couple of my history electives on Chinese history because I really wanted to understand China better and while I would say I’m far from an expert on China, I do think I came away better with a much better than the average American in understanding China. Then I had a co-worker from Taiwan who also was a history buff who taught me a little more about Taiwan during our lunch breaks.
