Two counties in Colorado have passed resolutions declaring themselves Second Amendment Sanctuaries (Weld, and now Douglas) because the Democratic-controlled legislature is debating a new “red-flag” law which would allow law enforcement to confiscate guns for a period of time if one is adjudicated a serious threat to oneself and others.
