Well, since no one in Nebraska has ever won a prize bigger than $50,000 since Nebraska started offering the game, they came up with a promotion to try to encourage Lotto ticket buyers to purchase Powerball tickets.

That’s called “First Million.” If you purchase a Powerball ticket with the Powerplay option, it spits out a sweepstakes drawing number to enter into your state Lotto account. (I have one.)

In August, they will be giving away a prize for a trip to New York City for New Year’s Eve and $1,000,000 spending money.

I could do worse than that.
