i had some moron ask me that just the other day, when my service came up.

i just told them “not yet, as far as i know, but i’m ready and willing if it’s necessary.”

they blanched and excused themselves.

Well, hell, in that case what would they have done if you had said ‘seventeen’, and given them details? What answer do they hope to get?

I wonder if they’re asking for reassurance, or what? Or does the mouth just move without checkage from the brain?
