Point of info - the US military used 1.6 Billion small arms (5.56, 7.62, .50 cal) per year in 2005 and 2006. I’m going to submit that if DHS was really planning on having to fight a bigger nation (the US) it’s going to need a lot more than a mere 1.6 billion rounds.
