Yes the Germanic tribes that became the Germans conquered the land that became Germany a long time ago. It was still conquest and more recent than the Jewish claim to Israel.

About the only people who own any land that was not theirs by right of conquest are the Australian aborigines. Ohhh but they were conquered too, and Australia claims Australia by right of conquest.

The trouble with the might-makes-right argument is, you’ve got no moral standing to object if the Arabs ever get it together, and make Israel “one with Nienveh and Tyre”, and Outre-Mer.
