Canvassers use handheld computers that lock on global positioning system coordinates for a given structure they record. The information is used to update or verify the bureau’s existing list of addresses.

If I have your listed phone number I can get your address, then in Google Earth or any online mapping program get the coordinates, even directions for the directionally impaired.
