I live in a negative environment because I see absolutely nothing positive out of this outcome. It’s a lose-lose situation for Democrats at this point, either abstaining from the “deal” and being seen as responsible for the default, or going with the “deal” and agreeing to inevitable cuts to the social safety net just to kick this can down the road a bit longer.
