He frequented the synagogue and community looking for charity. Maybe he felt that his own people should take care of him (like the Mormons profess to do - note I only said “profess”) and he retaliated because he felt they weren’t giving him his due. It’s entirely possible - doesn’t make his actions any better - but it’s definitely better than having an unidentified bomber out looking for synagogues to bomb.

Transients aren’t always homeless…they’re transient. They may live in a hotel by the week, their car a bit, and then another hotel after they scratch together some cash. Having 40 or 50 bucks and a Home Depot near by is enough to build a pipe bomb.

That last bit is the definition of homeless, no permanent living space. I know a number of homeless folks who fit that description.

Choosing to bomb someone who helps you (and they did) indicates a sick mind. I’m sure that’s what it’s about, or maybe it was his way to get close to them and be trusted. He also has at least one alias, maybe more, so who knows if he’s even Jewish or made up the name.

They’ll figure it out I’m sure.
