Actual work is left to daring embeds, a few remaining journalists and yes, the fact checkers.

Almost all the factcheckers are just rebranded media people, though. And I find a lot of useful stuff gets spread by citizen journalists— including stuff demonstrating flaws with the factcheckers.

The problems with the media are systemic ones that can’t be solved by suddenly calling themselves ‘factcheckers’.
