The MSM coverage seems to ignore the fact that Iran is just about as democratic as the old Soviet Union. The people the to chose from a list of candidates offered by the mullahs. There are no surprises.

yeah, cause in america just about everyone can get elected. Politics is all about influence and power. And also, if the majority of a country votes for someone like ahmadinejad that sucks but that is how democracy works.
