This is pretty neat considering that Barbara’s dad (this is W Bush’s daughter) beat Cecille Richards’s mom in a hotly contested race over 20 years ago. I actually have a lot of respect for how George and Laura Bush raised their daughters. They’re socially conscious young women and not mean spirited like the Palin older daughters were.

Whatever W’s policy failings as a President, there’s no denying that the Bush family is good people.
