I can’t say I’m overly fond of the choice of Sotomayor for SCOTUS. To me, she sounds like a sexist and a racist. As for being the first Hispanic, have not others on the SCOTUS had some sort of Hispanic roots in the past?

If confirmed, Sotomayor would be the Supreme Court’s first ever female Hispanic justice (Benjamin N. Cardozo being the first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice ever).
