of course…the whole notion is just so absurd, it’s hard for me to believe anyone would defend it…it’s govt intrusion and creates an artificial demand by giving away money!…astounding

Govt gives you money to buy car. Then they tax you on the money they gave you. Why not just give people a tax write off if you provide a copy of a receipt for a new car in FY 2009?

Would that have been so hard to do?
