Except that “the common good” (actually, “general Welfare”) means that which benefits all (i.e. common/general meaning that which is shared by all entities in a population); taking from some to give to others, contradicts that. If the welfare that you state was in sync with the Founder’s philosophy, then only now, in this century are such grand scale forced charities being erected?
