Just for argument, assuming that the worst predictions of AGW will come true, what should we be prepared to do? I don’t think carbon credit trading is effective means of addressing the problem.

Assuring the delivery of clean, inexpensive energy would be a great start. Whether GW has an A component or not, having abundant energy available will be the best starting point for dealing with warming (or cooling) for that matter.

Given a choice, I’ll take warming over an ice age any time as an easier problem to deal with.
