Greets and saluts from the NYC metro area. The investigation into the TS bombing continues, and the links to Pakistan’s Taliban are growing, which isn’t much of a surprise. What also isn’t surprising is that some politicians are using this as an excuse to try and revoke citizenship of US citizens suspected of being terrorists.

Frakking maroons.

The appropriate thing to do is charge them with treason. You know, the crime that’s specifically included in the US Constitution to deal with these scenarios. Instead of creating still more laws that are likely unconstitutional, enforce the ones that are on the books - and in the US Constitution.

Oh, and Shahzad turned out to be even more bumbling than suspected; he left the keys to his getaway car in the Pathfinder, meaning that investigators had yet another piece of evidence to tie Shahzad back to the attack.
