I first witnessed this anti-embryology ramblings in the early 90s when I was in the Navy stationed in Memphis. A lot of sailors in my unit, an avionics unit of reasonably intelligent folks, were fundies , listened to Rush at lunch, and went to Church at least twice a week. I remember them making fun of the concept/notion of a zygote. I wish I was kidding. My second favorite memory was them stating that global warming could never happen because God wouldn’t let man damage the earth. I repeat myself: I wish I was kidding.
