Concepts of good and evil, what constitutes either, are societal constructs. But they are important ones.

I get where you are coming from re: religion, but “When in Rome” is not a good philosophy from where I stand. One must choose a set of governing principles and apply them, to themselves, regardless of their geographic location. Unless of course your philosophy is “Do what thou wilt”, in which case “When in Rome” works well.

I guess you could say that. In fact that’s probably why the biggest multinational corporations are able to thrive.

On a related note, one of my favorite lizards is the Chameleon.
