I agree, but the racist/survivalist tools Obdicut was talking about tend to crave high-grade hardware like this. Don’t get me wrong…I’d love to go out to NM or somewhere with lots of open spaces and squeeze off a few rounds with a Barrett or other .50 cal rifle, just to say I did it, but longing to own one isn’t the end-all-be-all for me.

Hell, I don’t even own a handgun (yet), though the family armory includes a .22, a .30/30, and a double-barreled 12 gauge.
