Bachmann isn’t stupid. She was a successful tax attorney and you can’t be successful at that job and be stupid. That’s not to say she can’t be willfully stupid, but Michelle Bachmann is not low-IQ stupid.

I wasn’t suggesting stupidity so much as ignorance. One can be a genius and still have all of the common sense of a fruit fly. And Bachmann doesn’t seem to reach even that lofty goal.
