I sincerely feel the 2nd Amendment could benefit from a 21st century and post industrial revolution evaluation. Plus, it doesn’t help that people hoard guns these days. In teh past, you may have ahd a gun or two but these guys now, they’er planning for an invasion.

As a collector, and I actually *mean* that (nearly everything I own is from WW2 or earlier back to pre-revolutionary war), I would take offense to my collection being referred to, or treated as, an “arsenal” other than in a humorous context. Or the act of collection referred to as “hording”.

The fact that I could survive a zombie apocalypse with a portion of it is a side bonus, not the primary goal.
