Glasgow is a rough town! She Who Must Be Obeyed took three one-week courses in trad music in 2007, (Ayreshire, the Trossachs, and Skye) and I flew into Glasgow for the Skye week. We took the train from Glasgow to Malaig.

Oh my God! What a glorious bit of the world! We actually passed the steam train on the way back from Skye used as The Hogwarts Express. It was so frickin’ cool…

Hmm…Skye…now there’s a thought. Never been there myself but I’ve heard it’s lovely. Might take my girl there for a weekend or so this winter as part of the ‘Scottish tour’.
