Gak! I hate shaving! But I hate having an itchy beard. Male lizards, what product or products do you find helps with razor burn?

I hope you don’t mind me answering cause I am a she-lizard - but I am a skin care professional.

The best thing I have seen work is a good bar of olive oil based soap (tea tree or peppermint is best). Also, try to shave with the grain of the beard first, then against. Works good for extra sensitive skin.

Also a tea tree oil product for during and after you shave works wonders. There are also some products avaiable at beauty supply stores made just for razor bump prevention.
