I voted for military support, but I feel that I should emphasize that I only support it if we can prove that Assad really did use chemical weapons on civilians (what constitutes a civilian? What constitutes proof? I don’t know).

Using chemical weapons are a line in the sand that we’ve drawn and we can’t just back off of our guarantee without losing a serious amount of credibility.

The reason I support putting boots on the ground if we attack is because I think that if we’re going to be joining the civil war then we can’t ignore the Islamist rebels. In an urban environment like Syria then I think we’ll need infantry.
