This is a comment from the Townhall article tonight on the ebola case:

I’m sure it wasn’t pleasant but they never complained because it was their civic duty to protect others. The ability to quarantine ended in the 1980s with the aids epidemic. It was no longer politically correct to quarantine those who had been exposed because they belonged to a politically active class of people. In the current ebola case, they will not be able to quarantine the patient’s family who were certainly exposed because they are African Americans which is also a politically protected class.
