The CBO has made it clear that any GOP straight repeal would add significantly to the debt, leave more people uninsured, and still do a worse job than Obamacare has done.

The GOP clearly doesn’t care.

They don’t know or care how insurance actually works, let alone what kind of burdens they’re imposing on everyone as a result of their actions.

They don’t care, but they have to bullshit people into believing they care, hence why they’re now stuck insisting that yanking away your insurance and pricing you out of the market is giving you “choice.”
