I’m glad he’s not convicted. A conviction would have opened the flood doors of all kinds of court cases. But as Charles said, freedom of speech cuts both ways.

But I don’t think the fight is done yet. Minorities behind the court case, who understandably reacted with dismay, will try to bring this farce to the European courts and the United Nations. Since this was a ruling of the Dutch supreme court, a further legal move in the Netherlands is no longer possible.
