I expect news analyst’s to have a lean or bias, what I don’t expect is ignorance of basic facts. This wingnut fallacy has been circulating through the whirled nuts daily email chains a long time, and has been debunked several times. It’s easy enough for someone of Krauthammer’s stature to verify with a simple call the WH press office as well.

Truth be told, I was also under the impression the bust was given back, based on the same Telegraph article.

I just did a cursory search and cannot find any Telegraph article that offered a correction to the story.

The moral of the story: No matter the source, verify, verify, verify.
