Yep. From the looks of her wiki, her approach to these sorts of cases is to overcharge in the hopes of getting a plea deal instead of going to trial, because so far the only person she’s taken to trial and won a conviction on was a woman who fired a warning shot in order to scare off a violent ex-husband.
