Personally, I don’t care for President Obama’s reply.

The problem we have today in our society, well, one of them, is that people only respond to stronger, more dramatic, statements. Visual and audible.

I’m looking for replies that are less diplomatic, less couched in wishy washy terms.

As the stakes are so high - and changing health care laws will lead to life and death decisions that otherwise would be addressed differently - I think our rhetoric should reflect this.

Yes, this is what I meant, but you said it better. Fuck wishy-washy appeals to bipartisanship already. It comes across as naive at best, disingenuous at worst (especially since the GOPers have been, so far, REWARDED for their scorched-earth fuckery (e.g. Gorsuch))
