Actually the Republicans tried for immigration reform — a huge “build a wall” nativist backlash stopped them from doing that. Now we get immigration reform driven by the dems. Happy about that?

Immigration “reform” seems to be the one issue Democrats and Republicans can agree on. It’s not left vs. right or one party vs. the other; it’s elites who want cheap labor and pliable voters vs. ordinary people who demand the rule of law and whose livelihoods and lifestyles are threatened.
